2018- present Postdoctoral Research Associate,
W.K. Kellogg Biological Experimental Station (KBS webpage), Michigan State University, Hickory Corners, MI.
Advisor: Dr. G. Philip Robertson (Lab webpage).
Research focus: design and conduct research on carbon and nitrogen dynamics in soil and bioenergy crops by using isotope methods (natural abundance and 15N-enrichment), comparative studies of switchgrass varieties.
2018– present Field Site Research Coordinator,
Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center (GLBRC webpage), Michigan State University, Hickory Corners, MI.
Responsibilities: Coordinate and promote research projects at the field sites of the Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center. Provide information and give tours on the research project to visiting students and researchers as well as other groups from the US and abroad.
2019-2020 Co-host and Planning Committee Member of the 2020 Long-term Agricultural Research
Network (LTAR) online conference,
Responsibilities: helped with the event's planning; scheduled and conducted practice sessions with plenary speakers and moderators; developed Zoom guides for each of the roles (plenary speakers, moderators, and participants) which included the use of two platforms (Zoom Webinar and Zoom Meeting). Ran several internal tests. Co-ran the virtual conference with 19 plenary speakers (national and international), 40 moderators, and 300 attendees during April 28-29, 2020.
